  • Q. Where are you located and do you work in the USA and Canada?
  • A. We are located in the Pacific Northwest city of Portland Oregon. We operate in both the United States and Canada. In US we operate as Fly View Aerial. In Canada we operate as Kaspi Films - http://kaspi.ca.
  • Q. Do you travel outside of Portland, Ore with your octocopter?
  • A. Yes! We're more than willing to travel in and around the US and internationally. E-mail us for a specific price quote on your project.
  • Q. How much notice do I need to book an aerial photo or video shoot?
  • A. It depends on a variety of factors and what part of the year we're in, but as a general rule:
  • Spring-Fall: 3-4 weeks
  • Winter: Less than a week.
  • Q. What is the cost for your aerial photo and aerial video services / helicopter rental?
  • A. Most jobs are in the range of $2,500-$8,000 per day but can be as low as $500 for a few aerial photos.
  • Q. Can you provide stock aerial footage along the west coast?

  • Q. Are you insured?
  • A. Yes. We carry full liability insurance for all productions.
  • Q. Are you FAA Compliant?
  • A. Yes. We hold the FAA part 107 certification to operate UAV's commercially .
  • Q. What cameras do you provide?
  • A. We can easily mount and fly most production cameras. While we have several cameras such as the Red Epic Dragon, the full Nikon line, Sony A7 SII, and other micro 4/3 systems, we often fly the RED Epic Dragon and other heavier payloads to accommodate your productions specific needs.
  • Q. How long can your helicopters stay in the air?
  • A. Depending on the weight of the camera, flight times on average can range from 8-30 minutes.
